Birds of King Island

King Island is home to some of Australia's most endangered birds and the world's most rarest bird- The orange bellied parrot.

Launched in April 2017, "Wings on King" is a project for birding enthusiasts to help gather data from 80 sites situated across the island.

A great way top discover the birds of the island and the island itself!

Birds of King Island (BOKI) also run additional free and fun survey weekends throughout the year.

As an accommodation partner, King Island Breaks will give 15% discount to any registered "Wings on King" participants.
