Horse Riding:

Another unique experience on King Island is with King Island Rambles that offer a diverse range of tours. A very special tour is a visit to the platypus and observe them in the wild. King Island is one of the best places in the world to view these amazing creatures. You will discover some of King Islands best secrets and learn of the Islands rich history. You can even climb a lighthouse or do a walking tour.

Fishing:
Fishing, but of course; this is King Island. From squid, sweep, salmon and gummy the choice is endless . There is always something to catch from the wharfs at Currie, Grassy and from the Naracoopa jetty or from one of the vast number of pristine beaches.

 

Visit Terry Perry's store in Currie and stock up for all your fishing equipment and baits. At this unique store you will come across some of the friendliest locals who have an absolute wealth of knowledge of the best spots to visit.

 

Fromagerie - King Island Dairy:
No visit to King Island would be complete until you stop by the King Island Fromagerie which you will pass on the drive into Turnstone .  The top awards the Dairy has won for their cheese across the country and around the world are on display in the tasting room.
